600 Miles Away

Each passing day I seek what I'm missing,
All my life I've been so lonely
To be with a girl is what I'm wishing,
And be with each other is what I want to see

I want to feel love's sensation,
Before it's my time to go
Needing to hold her with affection,
My desires come to me slow

Until one day over the net, this girl makes me happy,
Chatting online at least once a day
What I learned was love to find me,
But one problem, were 600 miles away

Waiting so long brings me pain,
Feels like a million knives to the heart
Holdng up as long as I can,
Why must we be so far apart?
