Young Love

Hands together
as we depart -
so starts the day
you stole my heart.

Lily-white souls
in mid-July;
two youths beneath
the pure blue sky.

The shining sun
warms our embrace,
the tall green grass;
our hiding place.

On summer's stage,
we kiss on cue;
I smile knowing
I stole yours too.

    Nice flow. This pace of writing is my favorite. Most of the poems I hold dear have this same structure.
