* The Great Twilight Night *
From the time the clock hits midnight,
to the first peak of sunlight.
Their is a moment of peace and tranquility,
I call The Great Twilight Night.
I wake up just before sunrise,
on the morning of Christmas day.
The Christmas tree lights up the hallway,
guiding me to the presents that Santa gave.
Gifts under the tree,
stacked a mile high and wide.
What makes it more exciting,
is me being curious about what's inside.
I'll tip toe through the house,
trying not to make a peep.
Because mom and dad won't be happy,
if I awake them from their sleep.
I look out the window,
to see the stars twinkle in the sky.
And I'm looking at the snow on the ground,
watching it sparkle from the moonlight.
This is a picture, perfect moment.
I wish it could stay.
But it will soon come to an end,
when the sun begins to rise turning night into day.
Well the sun is here,
and The Great Twilight Night has come to an end.
Until next year, "Merry Christmas!"
"May their be peace on earth, and good will toward men."

For just a moment...I felt as if I was that little child, tip toeing in my feetsie pajamas...Can you hear the sound of the plastic feet, scuffing across the floor with such excitment. How peaceful it is to observe a blanket of snow...in the sparkling moonlight. This is a FANTABULOUS piece R.B. ~PEACE OUT
