My life was almost taken
My heart beat was slow
But I survived
For some
The same fate is not so
God is beside you
and this we all know
The only way to show
Without having to say
Is to let the tears flow
While you share laughs in heaven
Day after day
Hearing what God has to say
But your memory lives on
Even though you are gone
and in our hearts
We will never forget

Now just a silhouette
and Angel Of God
Even though we're upset
We know you'll live on
You left without regret
But in our hearts
our memories and our prayer
We never forget a good friend
for that is something that's rare
Though I didn't know you long
I could tell you were strong
and we always seemed to get along
That is what I envy
That someone could do no wrong
and still be so friendly
Wherever you may be
May you rest in peace
With no more tears
and no more fears
