"The Story Part VI"

I'm starting to realize
Maybe it's for the best
I need to close my eyes
and just give it a rest
We just weren't meant to be
So I give up I guess
Eyes closed I won't see
I only have my memory
and all the things you told me
Run off with your new man now
and just be happy already
"and I hope this letter will make you see, just how much you mean to me, and how much better you'll be with me, and that I can always guarantee, that you'll be happy with me"
