"The Perfect Night"

Wherever you are
This is for you
Staring at the stars
Is all I can do
I imagine a girl not so far
Just walking alone in the park
Not paying mind I haven't a car
We just sit and embrace in the dark
As our lips play the part
You just melt in my arms
and I melt in your heart
As your gaze fills my eye
I start to feel smart
As I rest my hand on your thigh
I know we'll never be apart
and now you'll never have to cry
This is all just a start
It's as clear as the sky
This is the perfect night
As the street lights grow dim
I want to say good night
but it all has to end
Even though it's so right
This is how I feel
I've lost all my sight
because it's not real
and I can't say good night
