"A Friend In Heaven"
Day by day
The truth comes our way
To make us pray
To take away one more day
A day we could be alive
One day away from death
Why should he let us die
Give us one more breath
If we had only told the right lie
or cheated on that test
maybe we wouldn't be crying
more or less dying
but the truth is here to find us
and it will catch up
It once had blind us
but we never gave up
It all has to end
We grow up to pretend
but Heaven is only pure
Those who follow the trend
Get to meet God
Our one and only best friend
