It Ends Here.............The final verse of Evan's Saga

A dirge of the saddest kind echoes across the hill
A mourn filled wailing into the night air does fill
Evan has finally passed the spirit away
No more to battle, no more to love this day
A soulless husk lies upon the barren ground
His life force silently stricken down
Was it some enemy he sought to fight and win
That struck the blow that finally did him in?
Was a disease inside hidden from all he knew
That caused his life to come to it's end so true?
Some say that a broken heart felled the mighty man
While others say a sorcerer brought him to his end
We may never no the truth that cause his life to cease
But forever cherish his gift of lasting peace
And so the cries of sorrow echo through out the land
For soon we will bury the legend and the man
Rest in peace dear Evan, rest in peace my friend
Although your body ceases, your legend will never bend
