Christmas to Me
Christmas to Me
The smell of pine in the wintry air
Colored lights on houses everywhere
Stores crying out "buy..buy..buy"
Other people lamenting "why..why..why?"
To aroma of that Christmas day feast
A present or two , to say the least
Santa on every corner ringing a bell
Rushing to the mall for that last minute sale
The look of amazement on a child's face
A joy you can never truly erase
A gift of love to a stranger somewhere
A message to our troops serving over there
But most of all , to me, Christmas is the day
That a Creator sent His Son to earth to stay
To show us the way of Divine caring
To show us the way of Ultimate sharing
