A Sad Lonely Marble

It's colors swirl all blue and green
From across the universe it can be seen
But up close it's colors change in hue
For things that are happening to me and you
A black mark scars a speck of grey
Where once a country did live and play
A pallid color swirls about the sky so blue
From nuclear tests meant to protect you
And those white caps seen on the bottom and top
Will soon be no more since the marble grows hot
It's a sad lonely marble that swirls about in space
I wonder when it's inhabitants will cause it's erase?
