Beep, Beep, Beep !!!!!

They say we have a clock inside that ticks away the years
It's always ever beating relieving all our fears
I am gifted with a special addition to that clock
A new fandangled device that doesn't go tic-tock
My electronic marvel sits on the side and waits
It offers little jolts of juice or what ever else it takes
And day by day it monitors the rhythm and the rhyme
Making sure my own life clock stays regularly on time
So now I hear it's warning sound deep within my chest
My little aid to my life clock tiring out at last
Beep, beep, beep it goes every 6 hours of every day
Telling me it's time for the cardiac doctors to play
So soon I'll be gifted with a bright and shiny gift
To aid my life clock and help to give my heart a lift
