All Too Familiar

I hear you in every song
You're in every lyric I sing
I feel you in every chord
You're in every note I play.

I miss you with every step
You're the reason I'm still going
I sense you with every movement
Your hands are still on my skin.

I see you behind every blink
Your silhouette still remains
I smell you with every breath
Your scent is still on my bed.

I meet you in the night
You're the one who fills my dreams
I know only your memory in the morn'
You're the reason I still rise.

Very good, speaking of song... it seems like it could be great lyrics itself.

The third verse is a little weak
but it is definitely one of my favourite poems I've seen on this site

I like the style of your poem. It's remencence of the old time poets, which in my opinion is rare these days. Keep it up!
