All I Want
I remember the way we were,
The way all we did was smile.
Then reality come along and ruined it.
It ruined everything,
Our happiness,
Our innocence.
What I would give to get it all back.
All I do now is sulk.
Sad songs and constant pacing.
Writing poems and
Snapping elastics to make the pain go away.
What happened to contentment?
Who killed bliss?
All I want is a sense of security.
All I want is mended heart,
A mended mind.
All I want is answers.
