A Happily Ever Forever
'We all want something more'
You told me
'An elegant story to tell. A happily ever after.'
But what about now?
What about here?
This moment in time
This footprint in the sand
This breath of fresh air
This bat of the eyelash
What about tonight?
Why do we wish for more
When all we need is before us
This is what we all really want
These laced fingers
This glance into each others' eyes
All we need is now
And we could not ask for more.
