Back to the Beautiful Disaster
Let's go back
Back before there was such a thing as 'Us'
Before we spent the night in each others' arms
Back to innocence
To when our only cares
Were of who's turn it was to play Sonic
And who could hold their breath the longest
Back to before we cared about love, sex, or the future
Before we lost touch
Let's change it that we don't
If we don't lose each other, we can't reunite
There wouldn't have been that night
You wouldn't have looked at me like that
You wouldn't have felt that sudden lust
And I wouldn't have fallen for it
I'd have just seen the same old you
And you wouldn't have even thought twice about looking back at me
But, alas, we cannot change time
What's done is done
And you know something,
I'm glad.
