Fighting With Myself

Sanity slips through cracks
Like sands of the hour glass
I'm never looking back
On my unforgiving past

I don't care how many nights
I lay sweating cold
I'll never be able to deny
All the lies that I told

And despite all the precautions
That I'll just be caused harm
I find that when exausted
I fall back into his arms

So for now I'll stay visible
So that he can't see right through me
And when I'm done feeling invincable
I may then let him persue me.

I like it. Good structure, and the poem itself was inspiring, and showing the torture that you was going through. Good job.
