Cerberus
In dreams I've seen such beast before
What dismal world is this?
May triumph haunt me nevermore
With gnashing tooth of Cerberus
Feeding upon the sin of man
My life hath been my token
I enter Hell with not a plan
That hound shall leave me broken
Paying toll of honest love
Which greedy hearts hath taken
Why, then, should I return above
Where my love has been forsaken?
Remember where my heart belonged
Where fear has plagued me least
I'll right what all of them hath wronged
And my hope will kill the beast.
