Understand?
Fight through the chaos
She grabs another's hand
Away from the nightmares, from the hurt
From her castle's falling sand
Be careful what you wish for
You just might crash and burn
But why not live in ignorance
And never have to yearn?
Picking at the petals
A love that you forgot
Another petal hits the floor
You decide you love her not
A pain dealt that much deserved
Regretting what was overdue
If only desire could concentrate
If only she never knew
Continue on and live the lie
Such things remain the same
Ignorant to what you'll never try
Both smiling through the pain
