Undead Lullaby

No more than a fool am I
Alone amongst the trees
My tragedy told through my sigh
And whispered in the breeze

Perhaps I am a vengeful rose
With such a blessed joy
For as my dying hatred grows
Its you I will destroy

Grabbing me with pure delight
And mourning eyes long dead
Could have been saved if you just might
Have meant the words you said

I cannot throw the past away
To unwelcome thoughts impure
My rotting heart will sooner decay
From diseases with no cure
