Sleep

Stomach grumbles,
Eyelids close gently,
Finger fumbles at a switch
Clothing loose
baggy,
Hair feels saggy from being
wet
Slowly sinking into slumber
Deep breathe
in and out
Under covers, no one discovers,
how tired and angry I am
Hoping to vanish,
into the night
close my eyes
and
forget my plight
