Sick and tired.

Sick to the stomache of how you feel when it comes to your parents once again not noticing your good doings. Wishing they could notice just one little thing or say thank you. It gets you upset and once again you see yourself laying across your bed crying the hottest tears that has ever touched the surface of your face as it slides down a lonley cheek you rekindle on all the good things that you've done and still have not been recognized for it. "Oh baby i'm so proud of you." only comes from good grades. Yearning for someone to give you attention in a loving way. Wishing that it will happen out of love and not grief or just because that person feel bad. Not asking for much you still get pushed to the side and overlooked. HEY LOOK! I'M RIGHT HERE! PLEASE! COME ACKNOWLEDGE ME! SOMEBODY... from now on you say to yourself that you'll only just worry about yourself and get on with your life and grow up to be what you want to be. Your sick and tired of being the one thats in the backgground or the person behind the scenes. Wishing you had the spotlight, hoping one day it'll shine on your achievements. Wanting love or just wanting someone to show you love shouldn't be much to ask for. Hoping that one day you could write just one happy thought of expressing yourself. Sick and tired of being trapped in this cage of sorrow... it ills your soul with heartache. It's how you feel.

   Great Job K.J., I have once shared these same feelings, though have learned along the way- that it's not about me... I too yearned for that same spotlight, though today, prefer being behind the scenes. Another thing I've learned, was not to build my treasures (pat on the back-so to speak) here on earth, but to build them in heaven. Now that acknowledgement is going to be one worth stepping behind for. Keep Writing... ~PEACE OUT
