Spider Bite
You struggle to be the victim
in your own tangled web.
Screaming for a hero
who put you on edge.
Then you state the obvious
so your place still stands.
Your tears the venom
that tarnishes her hands.
Your words, like no other
more transparent than your skin.
Speechless... body language bounds,
batted eyes taste of poison.
It sends the pain straight to her heart.
You succeed to cast your tangled allure
binding her body, as she gasps for air
reach for the throat,
the antidote, the cure.
She got immune to you,
she had more than enough
conquering a fearful spider
seduced to believe it was more than love.
