My Very First Poem...........Heartbreak
The closer I get to you
The more I feel pushed away
I dont know what else to do
When theres nothing left to say
You might say I'm strong
But you're the reason I am weak
The days are feeling so long
Here comes another pain streak
The truth is I can stop and stare
Bleed myself out nut you won't care
I will love you forever
But when I see you, my heart tares
I stay awake at night
Dwelling on pain and memories
The only thing heartbreak leads to
Is so many sad stories
I've cried out all my tears
Trying to help you go through
Getting over all your fears
These words I say are true

Pity if this is your first poem. I would it were that you wrote something that celebrated love, not heartbreak.
at this time i just had a heartbreak so i wanted to write about it. the guy that broke my heart was my inspiration. he sung me a song and i wanted to start writing poetry. i dont know what love is so i cant really write about celebrating it. im only 14.
though heart breaks are never fun to deal with i find that these types of events are excellent fuel for poems as well
i often write about my close encounters with the emotion love though i don't think that i have felt the feeling in full bloom i am about the same age as you so i know how you feel
please feel free to read something of mine i would really like to know what some one near my age thinks
