First Born
This is how it came to be,
I entered the world, ever so free.
Careless and fragile, like a baby dove,
Totally dependant of my parents love.
The world is a stranger,
I need to grow and learn.
Constantly in danger,
Only one way to turn.
My parents are my security,
Whom I depend on and love.
Who protects my vunerability,
Tahnks to the Father up above.
As I get a little older,
The insecurity subsides.
I will get a little bolder,
But the love will reside !
