Monsters

Dark, hazey and moonlit nights,
Spooky shadows come into sight.
Strange noises and fiendish sounds,
Seeming so real and all around.

The creaks, moans and deepest fears,
All these images seem to appear.
Thoughts of great wings and hair alike,
Claws and fangs tend to thrill the fight.

So think of stories and how the end,
And all the messages they will send.
For when the sounds and shadows reveal,
these, my friend, you'll see aren't real.
