Within the Moment

I take that walk
With bated breath
Towards my new future,
Glorious it should be,
I still have [my] doubts.

As I float within the moment
The music plays
(A tune the audience enjoys),
Smooth sounds from an old piano
Which in itself is beautiful.

I start to reflect
Upon the moments
That had led me to this point,
While I hear the faint ringing
Caused by the holy church bells.

Time seems to crawl slowly
As she approaches,
In a veil of pure white snow
That entices me so
With its innocence.

And within that moment
All my fears and doubts
Vanish like a wisp of the wind,
Replaced with unmatched happiness
As my bride to be comes nearer.

Now as we stand side by side
We pledge our vows
Never once our smiles waiver,
For within the moment
Our love is boundless.
