I can't stop, if she loves me not

If he couldnt foresake you lord
how can you so many times before
But now his fear and its not fair
can't find you here nor there
He put his faith in the lord above
where were you when push came to shove
O god he needs you now
Before he takes his final bow
hope that bible can stop this bullet
really can't see another way through it
loves on the rocks so he hit the booze
Give it two cocks now he's to choose
Pay his dues, sing his blues
Or seek healing, Lose the feeling
When all is said and done
He bows to her for she has won
holdin of breath, pick up of gun
stand steadily, finger in the trigger
fire that shot
Cause he love her
But she loves him not
Now he lays on the floor
With thoughts of her never more
Counting down to the last breath
Give her life she gave death
felt wasted, this life on vanity
for it has pulled the trigger to insanity
With out a fight fades away
Hoping to be with her another day
But no one has yet to visit him sir
As he lay in the funeral plot
Cause he loved her But she loved me not
So please god make it right
Its a long walk into this white light

   Your words have captured the scenario that I, and I believe many men, have played over and over in there heads at some point in their lives. What makes this poem truly tragic is that for some of these men, this is the script for their final scene. Well done.
