gone and forgotten

Baby is born
divorce parents torn
the new borns light
brings contagious fight

Baby born turns ten
another problem once again
mother smokes and drinks
against doctors advice
cancer, eats her mind kinks
mother, has stolen her life

Child turns thirteen
never thought he would have seen
life already with out mother
a bi-standard ignores light of yellow
speeds by, kills the brother
turns to drug, to sustain mellow

Walkin towards sixteen
further enters drug scene
lost faith in friends, in love, but not green
his depression, an excuse to smoke, to deal
inside trembles, outside denies this to heal

Somehow survived, and turned 22
drug wore off, remembers feeling of blue
reflecting back his life still in shambles
realizing life's been no more than a gamble

After squanderd down sanity man turns 27
dreams of perhaps life in heaven
he sobbs of suicide all through dawn
cries knowing as useless as a pawn
weeps reminiscing his life once surfice
in firey moons light, grabs his nife

Man lies dead commit lifes final act
for a week or so they walk wearing black
seven moons pass his body still lay rotten
continue life, his mind, body, soul, quickly forgotten
