Walking Carnival
You’re a walking carnival
I laugh
spying my reflection
in the mirror
dressed up to
strike a mood
battling insanity
with good cheer.
Rainbow hues
and denim blues
sparkling jewels
will also appear
some cool shades
maybe a funky hat
I’ll conjure a party
from a jar
borrow me a smile
I’ll pay you back
because tonight
I am a star.
