Emptiness
A tear,
So small in size.
Yet so large in emotion;
For every fallen tear,
There is a painful memory
That you helped form and
Embed in this tired mind.
These tears of mine fall unseen,
hidden by the walls of my room
And the darkness of night.
Yet these tears, so strong,
Are what lull me to sleep
Most of the nights.
A simple song,
clear and soft
Can bring these tears out
From my depths.
Their words are like magic,
Always reaching
Deep down and pulling these
Hidden emotions
And attacking this brokenness.
At times I feel powerless
To the empty love I feel.
But do not try to fix this,
You will be wasting your time
And your effort on emptiness.

It's crazy how one person can experience something BUT at that moment can't truly express the feelings. My last relationship had me feeling like this... I hate to know that someone else experienced it also BUT I can glad to see the passion in your words.. EXCELLENT
