Old Man

To Mrs. Todd the most wonderful teacher

A man waits for God to take him away.
A messy old man, an old man with gray hair,
Sitting in a cold dark alley all by himself,
Playing sad songs, hungry and alone,
Cold and discouraged,
His family all passed away.
Finally he gives up, lies down.
