like melting ice

With the heat from the sun
this poor little cube
made with love and water
slowly starts to drip
Ever so slowly the droplets
glide down the sides
till they reach the edge
Fighting with all its might
to stay with its whole its body
But nature is too strong
she pulls and pulls till
at last, the drop falls
to its final resting place
It's sad knowing this murder
this act of hate goes unnoticed
This is nothing more than a tear
falling down my face
forced out by the stresses of
weak foundations among friends
It's just like melting ice
