The Hit

Thumping, thump, thumping
My heart is beating hard for you.
Pumping, racing, striving
Speeding up, my heart pushes adrineline into my veins.
For a second I go light headed.
Now my body tingles all over.
Is it true that you can black out and still function?
In a split second my fist is cocked back.
What has come over me?
Next thing I know, this fist of mine has
Knocked you out!
