My Wave

I stand for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
My stars represent each of the fifty states.
My stripes represent each of the original colonies.
I am a symbol that brings all my people together.
I am hung high when people need encouragement.
A part of me has been to the moon;
Waving behind the moonrover.
Another part of me traveled through the Iraq deserts;
Attached to the Abrams tanks of the Marines and Army.
The biggest part of me was hung by the fire fighters of New York over the falled twin towers;
After a devistating attack.
Whatever you do,
DO NOT LET ME FALL!
DO NOT LET YOURSELF FALL!
