Betrayal

Your smile makes me weak
I stumble everytime you touch me
Your presence pulls me close
Even when I want to pull away

Your eyes burn into mine
It takes strength to look away
Your body moves so powerfully
My body is under your control

But she stands next to me
Her smile tells the truth
Her eyes shine bright with hope
When she does not know

That as I stand beside her
He looks at both of us
Inside it kills me to think
She will find out and get hurt

But again and again
I am pulled to him
And when she askes
I am forced to lie

I know what I'm doing is wrong
I know I'm being a bad friend
I know I can just say no
Instead of betraying my best friend
