Two Lovers
Dreams, in the dark
Emotions of the heart
Time standing still
For two lovers embraced
Taken as each is by another
Betrayal the unspoken word
Lies and regrets gone too far
No turning back now
One craves the other
Though each has his own
This forbidden taste of sweetness
The reason for awakening
The lies told so woefully hurtful
Thoughts of being "the other" so sinful
But it cannot be stopped
As a bond has formed
A bond of treachery
Between two lovers
A bond of hope of what could be
Between two lovers
However wrong, still so wanted
However wanted, still so wrong
Easy to get lost
Until guilt comes on strong
What has been done to the innocent
The pain inflicted
Upon those undeserving
The killer in the end
So sweet in the heat of passion
How can it feel so good but so wrong
As guilt eats away the souls
Of two lovers
