What's Left
You look at me
With tired eyes and I know
Tonight you need me
I'll be here until you go
Today was bad
And here you've come to me
I'll be your release
Until you leave me again in misery
I'll let you use my body
And I'll let you numb my mind
The hurt will come back
When you leave me behind
You'll go back to your life
The life in which I have no part
You'll be back next time
Slowly breaking my heart
It's not enough for me
And it's killing me slow
Each time you leave
You take a piece of me when you go
You are so selfish
Thinking only of you
You'll never begin to know
All you've put me through
It's not you I blame
It's me to take that fall
I keep coming back for more
Keep taking it all
It's wrong
But here I sit
Waiting for you to come back
So I can take what I can get
