Fish In The Sea
Just how much greener can the grass possibly be
And how many other fish are there in the sea
Is life really too short or is it actually too long
And how many rights does it take to fix a wrong
When life hands you lemons will that lemonade taste ok
Once the clouds begin to part with there actually be a sunny day
How much better really are the wounds time is supposed to heal
If I pass on this one will the next hand be a better deal
Those answers cannot just be found
Time and patience are the keys to turning things around
Laughter truly is life's antidote
Family and friends are the clouds on which hope floats
Of all I've learned and all I know
All I can see is there's a long way to go
The grass is not nearly as green as it can be
And as for those fish, well I suppose we'll see

I really enjoyed this poem. If I may add my two cents, you're absolutely right, grass isn't greener on the other side. I once read/heard of this: if grass is greener on the other side, build a taller fence. Great poem!
