Last Call

That deep patch of darkness
The hole in your heart
The depth of which you use
To keep yourself apart
You won’t let me in
I can’t work my way inside
My unwanted waste of help
Annoys you while you crawl back in and hide
Your smile used to captivate my heart
Hold my stare
Now your blank face holds nothing
Nothing more than that sickening glare
I hate what you’ve become
Your emptiness is sad
I hate your self destructing grief
And your empty soul drives me mad
But I’ll not be dragged down by you
Against my will I give up
I’ll run from your hateful heart
I’ll not drink from your cup
The closing remark
In the end you’ll fall
One last goodbye
This is the final call
