Vagrant Sky

Vagrant Sky

When I see the stars in the sky
Along a blue nightly riverside
Times of my life have a drifter side

Twilight night, where I can see the clouds
Stars hide, and are visible in-between which for me are aloud

Distant universe, though I am not alone
A world of opportunity to which I can unfold

Knowing the unknown, through what I can see
A conflict indeed,
Through my mind and reality

Rivers of clouds high in the vagrant sky
My mind is in a fog, where I can only see if I feel the need

For what is free, is right in the open
Which I am thankful for the opportunity,
For as far as my eyes could see

Not the best I've read, but it shows promise. =] I like it. <3

An interesting piece; as there are stars in the sky, so varied are the perspectives when we take time to gaze upward; nicely done. --Joe

Perhaps you would enjoy a similar poem; it's entitled "Evening Sky"; I've posted today, so it should be available for viewing by tomorrow.
