Why Do You Shout?
I listen to your piece
The words are gentle and it sounds nice
The poem is very artistic
Brilliant, and eclectic
It shows you put this down to your hardest effort
I give you the praise which you so seek, and try to exhort
Like a god of some sort,
But never knowing the true God
You want to make your voice sound like God, himself
I must ask you son…Why do you shout?
As if you have a rough chip on your shoulder,
Or just as an amateur to display your courage
You make it sound so bold, but with the words,
It’s like a poetic contradiction
Your own words represent you, but by the actions your words mean nothing
Just a running child, but running from what?
Why do you shout?
What not, to your own existence?
You show some, but hide your characteristics
Your attitude is expressed through your voice expressions
To make what impression?
On to what is your vision?
Showing wrong inspired ambition
Anger is what it shows, but words fuel your anger showing love
Does this exist? What is your purpose?
Anger?
Depression?
Aggravation?
Is this our nation?
Why do you shout?
Will I ever see a change in you
On what I’m hearing, or what I view
I guess good people are only a few
At least through your words and your actions,
It shows without even knowing but you
