Confidence
Well, let's face it, I'm a dork
I crack jokes randomly
Mainly, because I can really give a F*** less what people think of me
I'd say, back in the day
When I didn't have much to say
I never cared to know what to say
People thought I was gay
Because I acted different then what wannabees should act like today
But today,
People support gays
Like its a certain race
Put in a category to compensate AIDS
Makes me think twice about calling any more mistakes
So what am I thinking?
Being me, or nothing
Knowing me, and knowing what I believe, for standing
That's making a stand, and making a sacrifice, for your love I'm taking
Let's face it today
Society sucks, and its worded in all the genres of music in this world
Call me another,
I'll even take a number
You had just better not stereotype me as a nobody or a corrupted follower
So what am I thinking?
Being me, or nothing
Knowing me and knowing what I believe, for standing
That's making a stand, and making a sacrifice,
For your love I'm taking
When can we face the day
I'd say its time we start throwing fists instead of taking them
Its either being me, or nothing
This means, being a nobody or a somebody, or something
You figure it out
I'm not your father, I aint your brother
Get out and explore with one another
Make different friends and show a difference in where you grew up
Make your parents mean something, by making yourself mean something
When you want something, you reach out, you usually don't hold back until you get it
I don't know everything but I do know this
To know life, you gotta live it
That's something we all have in common…
Well now, you know the secret
So what am I thinking?
Being me, or nothing
Knowing me and knowing what I believe, for standing
That's making a stand, and making a sacrifice, for your love I'm taking
Hope I didn't hurt anyone's feelings
