Straight off the picking line
Stale is every morning as a new loaf is baked
placed on the same shelf to fill its daily duty
The carboard grey monotomy
the cell which absorbs imagination
then it evaporates without trace nor tender
from any starving palm
we all scrape at the walls
desperate to reveal a razor-sharp colour
that we can all feast and spoil upon
when the time comes, the mind will simply create
and maddness is one of two paths too may of us take.
