Pathetic and Sexy

my hand, my own
give it back to me,
throw it if you have to,
tattered and torn like
old tennis shoes
like toothpaste all squeezed out.
like Jojo’s chewed up tennis ball.

it ruins more than slippers.

This is my love.
Pathetic and sexy.

used and reused
recycled.
pass me about
I was made to be shared.
Please cut me up into equal bits
and distribute me fairly
some of you will swallow me whole,
you will take me like medicine,
throw me to the back of your throat
and take with a full glass of water
Guzzle me.
I am only worth 8 oz, but I promise you that I am sweet.

some of you will swallow me whole.
some of you will call me a whore.

Whole, whole
being whole is useless.
the best lovers are broken.
if I am a good lover then
there must be cracks in places
that I need a hand mirror to find
I am a good lover
So there must be cracks.

I am mentally stable
And overrated.
I am not what you fear I am,
I am worse.
Let’s have an intimate chat,
let’s “get real” here.
I am real, you are real
I am not whole
you are not real.

Real, real.
is something I can steal
real is the objects that I pickpocket
you can tell me by my sticky fingers
and cotton mouth.
It’s a diversion
look at what I took.
if I was honest then I would give it back
but some people call me a whore.

Ouch!
stop those glaring eyes
those non subtle hints
you are overt and ugly
I am refining elephants and you are
clumsy and cultured
some people would call you a fuck.

Fuck, fuck
The feel good necessity
I will be sad until I am had
Conjugal visits.
I am endangered in this cellular shaped
habitat
call me wildlife.
I am free to do what I want
but I am tied to the bed.

let’s be honest here.
let me tell it to you straight.
you listen to hard rock
you listen to punk
you are up to date on the new underground
I live underground,
but that is not new, it is just old and sad.

  1. SC Noll says:

I love when someone isn't afraid to use the word Fuck in their poems, in my opinion it's quite essential. That aside, this poem is so great I don't know how to describe how much I loved it, all I can say is thank you for writing such powerful words. You've got a fan for life now.

  2. Jason Partington says:

I like this, it simply defines what a person is, how they express their feelings, and what many things he/she may think.
