a gamer's play
I am game playing
it’s time I showed you my restlessness
I am rolling around as
empty as a ping’s pong.
my obliviousness is my decapitation
and you are my castration
uselessness hangs
like a dirty conscience.
Consciousness kills
and it’s time we fought back!
and we will adopt the Beasty Boys mantra.
and we will consume my media’s emission
we like to fill ours brains to the brim
with chemically inclined reparation.
and I will fight for my right!
filled with chemically inclined emotion
my thoughts recline
and I retire
and I am nowhere
and you are no body
and we are not.
This is nothing so much as a nightmare
Legitimately man-made and
subsidized by yours truly.
We love to
fill our heads with nonsense
we like chemical candy.
my mind’s cup is overflowing and
I am brain dead
this is a brain filled to death.
but look at me.
Soilent green is people and
I am walking on sunshine.
I am blinded by the glare of my own success
but now I have a bird’s eyes view
of my own demise
“It’s one wrong step after another,” says I as
I tumble
paddled left and right
I am palmed by the powers that be
that just can’t seem to leave me alone.
They love me like a boy loves his balls
and I can’t shake the feeling
that I am being fondled.
