thoughtful and lifeless
I know that if I lose you
I will lose my beauty
I am your salty lover but
sans toi
I will smell of sweet and sick
I will be purple tongues
that taste only sour
sitting in your lap
I am morbidly wagging my tail
my hands feel grotesque
and clumsy holding this
pen and thinking
of life without you
it would be wrong to continue
to write without you
I am just a lump that needs molding
I was refined by your touch
just as now I am tuned by your verse
you turned me into a person with virtue
like magic, you made me real
before I was just an object of attention
thoughtful and lifeless.
