Summer Nights

Summer nights with warm soft breeze,
tender grass beneath my dreaming soul,
everlasting friends of illuminated life sprinkled in the deep space,
painting a web of fireflies echoing words between.
Held above the silhouetted clouds,
a perfect moon lives watching over me.
Nowhere to go but to lie in the summer night and sleep,
into the leaves of fall, the snow of winter, the blooming spring and back,
every time I lay down in the summer night, I dream, I dream.
