strange ways walked

We all love in strange ways,
and despise in stranger ones,
but we are human.
Humanity is but forgotten
in dry wells of indifference,
in a lack of will to change.
If dust we be, then dust thou arts.

  1. The Phoenix says:

"We all love in strange ways,
    and despise in stranger ones,"
    very well said!

im always taken somewhat by surprised by the various forms despise and bitterness take!

  2. Orpheus . says:

So am I too taken aback. If we are dust, a metaphor for our humanity, then we should humanise and improve ourselves, dusting our arts. If we are humane, the sin is not in hating or in despising but in being indifferent when others do it out of malice because it is an affront to the human spirit. The message is hopefully positive.
