My love

If I were to kiss you, would you kiss me back?
If I was to hug you, would you slap me in the face?
If I wrote you a poem, would you read or burn it?
If I sang you a song, would you sit and listen to it?
If I took your hand, would you squeeze or pull away?
If I said I loved you, would you say it too?

I love you with all my heart but you dont respond
I tried to hug you but you shrank and pulled away
I sang you a song but you just up and left
I reached out for your hand but you just walked away
I tried to kiss you and your cheek you turned

So this is my last chance this poem I leave for you
If you’ve read it this far then I know you care
Because on the back of this page is another line
It says what bridge and what time I’ll jump…
Hopefully I’ll see you there!
