my angel
Your scent no longer lingers erotically on my pillow
Your touch I no longer feel tingling as I go to sleep at night
The creases your gorgeous body left on the sheets now gone
The grip you have on my heart still beats as strong
We were so young but we knew it was right
I loved you… I felt your love back
We were so happy together but you had to go away
The way you kissed me like no one was there, made the whole room stop and stare
The warmth in your hug, so tight but so gentle
Your eyes so tender, so loving so beautiful
The way you ruffled my hair as we kissed in the dark
It makes me remember all of the laughs
But you went away, I wish you had stayed
But were still together in our own little way
Our walks on the beach, your puppy in tow
I wish for that back, our love divine
I will go now before I start crying
Come back soon my love, or is our love dying?

A very nice poem, I likes its meaning of not being with a loved one any more, well written.
The grip you have on my heart still beats as strong
i really like this one.
That is really good! Nice use of language, and the feelings are approached well.
